oddly enough it seems like it's been forever since my last blog but really it was only friday and I think in a 3 day period last week i blogged about eight times. isn't blog a really weird word when you say it over and over again...blog, blog, blog, blog
i had a very lovely weekend with our friends the dosters and our second-friends (it's like second-cousins but they are second-friends because we met them through the dosters). there was a graduation. there was lots of food and drink - hideaway (mushrooms and pizza), starbucks (a big fat coffee), shogun (well, way too much food), galileos (that super fab chocolate cake and dip sampler and a kamakazi?), makers (another kamakazi with cherry flavor and cherries), and lastly teds (mmmm..good..totillas) and some sunday late night custard. yes, all i do with my friends is eat...
so today i went to an indesign class...it's seriously boring and i have 2 days left. i'm not really sure which is best...work or class...i'm leaning toward work right now.
now that my weekend binge is over i really need to start watching the ole points again. and guess what it sucks. spinning out of control is a very hard thing for me to stop. once i stop, i'm fine but putting the breaks on is difficult. so if i yell at you in the next week or so it's probably because i'm avoiding fried and sweet things. i'm also trying to convince myself that exercise is good for me. the funny thing is my body wants to exercise - i feel it but my mind just wants to sit on the couch. surely my body can control my weak little mind...surely.
and lastly, because i really do have other things to do. lately at work my co-workers have said to me multiple times "hey christie you should blog about that." i'm like their sounding board but yet blogs are free and i don't know why they don't blog about these things they are interested in. also, i've gotten the "i wish more people posted on your blog - that way we could have answers to your ponderdings." YET (amy) chooses not to comment on my blog to share her thoughts. she simply walks to my cube and tells me. so i've been thinking how do you really get traffic to your blog and really the only way to market a blog is through crusing the world wide web and posting on other's blogs. and i've come to a conclusion about this - posting on other's blogs makes me very nervous. unless i know you, i run the risk of rejection. there is a blog i found in okc - a twenty something - who shares my birthday and participated in the marathon. i have posted numerous times on her blog and shared the interesting similarities and i've gotten nothing. it's like trying to make friends and them completely shuting you down. so yeah, i get nervous about posting so i'm not sure i can properly market my blog. i would appreciate any thoughts (amy).
that was a serious typing frenzy so if it makes no sense and reads like an eight-year old wrote it...sorry. or better yet go find another blog friend. wait...don't...i need you in my count of 6 faithful readers.
word is that eddie posted a new blog today...i haven't read it yet so if it's offensive don't blame me.

How could I not comment on that plea for repsonse?? I've blogged things in my head about twice as often as I actually make it to the computer. So hooray for your blogginess. And I call the people who read my blog and not comment "lurkers". My brother is a lurker. He always comments in person, especially when I haven't blogged for awhile. So he's lurking but not responding. okay. whatever. Sorry this comment has no point.
i appreciate your non-lurkiness.
Amber was here.
thank you amber. that's all i ask...just a little leave behind.
