Yep, I've again hopped on the blog train. Next week I start training for a half-marathon. I am relatively calm about it and am looking forward to the benefits but the thought of training 6 days a week is lingering in the back of my mind. Luckily for me I have a training partner that is all about it and that will be helpful.
Anyway, I always joke that I appear thin but if given the opportunity I would eat 4 cheeseburgers a day, with french fries and a soda to boot. So ultimately I think like a fat girl and honestly have not settled into being less than 150 lbs (really close to 140lbs). I decided to look up skinny and this is what Merriam Webster says -
1 : resembling skin : MEMBRANOUS 2 a : lacking sufficient flesh : very thin : EMACIATED b : lacking usual or desirable bulk, quantity, qualities, or significance
Note 2. That is not something I would choose to be. So my question is - are we using the word skinny properly? Or is that just me?
