goodbye long days. goodbye evening walks. goodbye sunsets at a reasonable hour.
i hate turning the clocks back.
anyway, i'm having a decent weekend except that i had two outings planned for the evening and both were cancelled. so instead i hit a couple of thrift stores which i would like to add were extra crowded - thanks to halloween.
speaking of halloween - i can't remember the last time i actually celebrated halloween officially but this year i am. it's a long story but it involves an idea that i should have kept to myself.
yesterday was a pretty rough day. i found out that the doctor who is performing my biopsy will be off the whole week that my biopsy is scheduled. apparently somebody forgot to tell the appointment setters. great, huh? i have to wait another week to have the procedure. i have plane tickets for e to come home for the original date. i've planned for being off work. it's just complicated by e being on tour in the middle of oregon, having a big anniversary and just being annoyed by it all.
honestly, i just want to get it over with. i'm not incredibly worried about it but it is bothering me some and i just want to move forward. sigh.
i'm off to watch friends with money and make some buttons. and to find some chocolate.

I'm sorry, Christie. That really blows. Further confidence in quality medical care is yet again instilled. I wonder if you can get them to pay for your plane ticket. I mean, don't some docs have an advance notice policy or you pay for the visit? It should work both ways. I hope everything works out ok.
What a way to celebrate a decade of marriage. It's ironic that there is a reversal of sorts from when you were first married. Organ extraction seems to be a theme.
