e and i had a great anniversary celebratory weekend. good times. and he will be home for quite awhile. honestly, i don't even know when he's supposed to go out next - i should probably find this out.
anyway, today we had a pre-thanksgiving, thanksgiving dinner with the turkey, dressing, etc. (it's a long weird family story) and i was sent home with peanut brittle and fudge. seriously, the holidays aren't even officially here and i'm already having to deal with sugary goodness. it's going to be a long holiday season. long. but i am getting excited about the holidays and was happy to see that my friend the coit's christmas tree lot santa has been erected. for some reason i love this guy.
